01

Agreement and service status

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of uiaidol.com and UIAIdol’s related accounts, design-research library, API, CLI, and Model Context Protocol tools (together, the “Service”). “UIAIdol”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the UIAIdol service operated from Melbourne, Australia.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is currently in an early-access and product-preview stage, so features and availability may change.

02

Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for that organisation.

You are responsible for using an email address or Google account you are authorised to use, maintaining the security of your account and devices, and promptly telling us if you suspect unauthorised access. You must not share authentication links or impersonate another person or organisation.

03

Permitted use

You may use the Service for lawful product, design, engineering, marketing, education, and competitive-research activities, subject to these Terms and any limits displayed in the Service.

You must not:

  • break any law or infringe another person’s rights;
  • probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass security, access controls, rate limits, or technical restrictions;
  • access another person’s account or submit malicious code or content;
  • use automated means to copy or republish the catalog at scale beyond the intended API, CLI, or MCP access;
  • misrepresent UIAIdol research as an endorsement, official design specification, or complete record of a third-party product; or
  • resell or make a competing archive from substantial parts of the Service without written permission.

04

Research content and third-party rights

UIAIdol organises interface references and contextual metadata for research. References may be incomplete, illustrative, time-limited, or linked to third-party websites and app stores. They are not legal, accessibility, security, or product-compliance advice.

Third-party product names, trademarks, interfaces, and source material remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement. You are responsible for determining whether your intended use of research material is lawful and appropriately attributed.

Rights holders can send attribution, correction, or takedown requests to hello@uiaidol.com. We will review sufficiently detailed requests in good faith.

05

UIAIdol intellectual property

UIAIdol and its licensors retain rights in the Service’s software, branding, original text, taxonomy, selection, arrangement, and presentation. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose.

If you send feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or payment, but you keep ownership of any rights you already hold in the underlying material.

06

Plans and payment

The public Explorer experience is available without payment. UIAIdol Pro is offered at $20 USD per month or $60 USD per year, as displayed at checkout. Stripe processes payments on our behalf; UIAIdol does not receive or store your full payment-card number.

Paid plans renew automatically at the selected billing interval until cancelled. You authorise Stripe to charge the payment method on file for each renewal. You can cancel renewal through the billing portal in your UIAIdol account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or where we expressly agree otherwise. If a payment fails, we may limit paid access while Stripe retries collection or until the account is brought current. Price changes apply prospectively and will be communicated before they affect an existing renewal.

07

Availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, integrations, or access limits. We do not promise that the Service will always be available, error-free, or suitable for every workflow. Preview features may change substantially or be withdrawn.

We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, non-payment under future paid terms, material breach of these Terms, or protection of the Service and its users.

08

Consumer rights and disclaimers

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights that may apply under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not make additional warranties about accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or results from relying on research content.

09

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UIAIdol is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from the Service.

Where liability cannot be excluded but can lawfully be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to supplying the relevant service again or paying the reasonable cost of having it supplied again. This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law.

10

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, including the basic Google identity information used when you choose Google sign-in.

11

General terms

These Terms and any additional terms expressly presented for a feature form the agreement about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Courts with jurisdiction in Victoria may hear disputes, subject to any mandatory rights you have elsewhere.

We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version and changing the effective date. We will provide additional notice for material changes when appropriate. Questions can be sent to hello@uiaidol.com.
